Chris Evans is an Austin-based singer-songwriter and former drummer whose solo project, Holy Islands, emerged during the COVID-19 lockdown. His debut EP, Happier Before, set for release on January 17, 2025, draws deeply from his personal experiences with mental health, addiction, and family challenges, blending soulful, ambient, psychedelic Americana. The EP's singles, “Angels” and the title track, will be released in late 2024. Collaborating with some of Austin's finest producers, Evans crafted a deeply personal sound that reflects his journey of self-discovery, love, and loss. Evans' music invites listeners to connect with their own stories through his evocative songwriting.
